I am an art historian, writer, and educator specialising in nineteenth-century art, the history of collections, social history, digital humanities, and transatlantic visual culture.

I was 2025-26 John Bedford Fellow at the University of Leeds, and have been a Teaching Fellow at The Courtauld Institute of Art. I completed my PhD at The Courtauld in 2024. My thesis examined the relationship between art collecting and social identity in Manchester and Philadelphia in the nineteenth century.

My writing has appeared in Art History, Journal of Victorian Culture, and ArtUK.

I am available for writing and copyediting commissions, research projects, lecture series, and teaching.
